New 'do: Myleene Klass has jumped on the crazy hair bandwagon with two buns on the side of her head
It seems there is no such thing as a simple hairstyle in celebrity world these days.
Since Lady Gaga first arrived on the scene, more and more stars have been experimenting with their locks - going for a more outrageous look.
And now, after Cheryl Cole and Nicole Scherzinger both trying out with bizarre 'dos, Myleene Klass has jumped on the crazy hair bandwagon.
Inspiration? Myleene's new hairstyle was reminiscent of Princess Leia in Star Wars
The pregnant 32-year-old appeared to have taken inspiration from Star Wars' Princess Leia with two buns on the side of her head as she stepped out in London.
Myleene teamed the look with a trendy camel coat, black pleated mini-skirt, boots and knee-high socks.
But the TV presenter later admitted she wasn't too taken with her attempted winter chic look.
She wrote on her Twitter page: 'My friend says there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. I concur.'
Fashion-forward: Myleene teamed a camel cape with black miniskirt and boots
Myleene's new look comes after Cheryl Cole tried out a Minnie Mouse style bow on the top of her head in a previous X Factor show.
The 27-year-old judge has been attempting to beat panel rival Dannii Minogue with her fashion-forward appearances, but has frequently lost in her attempts.
Meanwhile, Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger has also been sporting a very bizarre hair do in recent weeks, debuting the look on The X Factor, before showcasing it yet again for an interview on Daybreak and for the launch of Reebok's ZigTech trainer at London's Westfield shopping centre on Monday.
The original, and the best: Lady Gaga was the first star to start the crazy hairstyles
Experimenting: Cheryl Cole went for a Minnie Mouse look on The X Factor, while Nicole Scherzinger has also been sporting a bizarre new 'do
Perhaps the new style, which sees her locks teased into two points on the top of her head, was inspired by the 'do she sported on the set of Men In Black 3 in New York last month when she had her hair coiled up on either side of her head for the role.
Nicole is playing a villain in the new film, but admitted recently she still remains unsure of her acting ability - despite also having starred in US TV sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
She said: 'I grew up on the stage so film is still kind of new for me so I am learning a lot.
'So for the film I was acting to a lot of, "Bam, bam, he is alive, bam, he is dead!" and I was just trying to react to all of that, thinking, "Is this good or bad acting I am doing right now?" '
