Happy to give back: Katy Perry and Kathy Griffin are all smiles as they pose in military costumes they donned for VH1's Divas Salute The Troops
Normally Katy Perry likes to show off her womanly curves.
But a new picture on Twitter shows the chart-topping singer dressed down and completely covered up for VH1's Divas Salute The Troops.
Katy, 26, posted the picture of herself posing with comedian Kathy Griffin along with the caption: 'Speaking of firecrotches... I love her. QUEEN OF COMEDY.'
The two are wearing WWII-era army uniforms for the television event, to be broadcast in the U.S. on December 5.
It will feature female acts performing at a Marine Corps Air Station in San Diego and at an undisclosed military base in the Middle East.
Katy and her representatives have taken the assignment very seriously, and even had her 34D breasts photo shopped smaller in a promotional poster for the concert.

It's not the first time that Katy's chest has caused controversy.
Back in September her cameo on Sesame Street was cut from the show after parents groups complained about her low cut top.
But despite the outrage, Katy is no stranger to low cut outfits.
