Take off: Kristen Stewart is escorted through Rio De Janeiro airport on Saturday before boarding a flight back to the U.S.

After just over a week in Brazil it is time for the Twilight love birds to fly home.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted at Rio Airport on Saturday night boarding a flight back to the U.S.

The low key couple were flanked by a heavy security escort as they made their way through the terminal - both dressed casually in jeans and hooded sweatshirts.

Rob, 24, and Kristen, 20, have been in Brazil to shoot scenes from the upcoming fourth instalment of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

The couple went out of their way not to be photographed together, even walking several paces behind one another through the airport.

But during filming they were spotted kissing and being romantic in the middle of a busy Rio street as part of scenes depicting the couples honeymoon parts of which were also filmed on the isle of Esme just off of the coast.

The storyline in Breaking Dawn follows Edward and Bella as they get married and jet off on their honeymoon.

While they are there Bella becomes pregnant with a baby that turns out to be half human half vampire.

Filming on the new movie officially began last week in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is expected to continue in Vancouver.

Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series, will be broken down into two movies with the first part in cinemas next year and the second half to be released in 2012.
