'Cher Lloyd's as miserable and moody as she looks': Louis Walsh launches attack on X Factor contestant

'Troublemaker': X Factor judge Louis Walsh says Cher Lloyd is 'as miserable and moody as she looks'

Louis Walsh has launched an incredible attack on X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd, insisting the 17-year-old is 'as miserable and moody as she looks'.

The show's judge said Cher is causing trouble in the house and on the programme, and reports of diva-like behaviour are true.

He told Closer magazine: 'I've heard rumblings of what is going on in the house - there's a lot of parties, they're teenagers.

Controversial: Former contestant Treyc Cohen also said the 17-year-old plays 'mind games' on her fellow contestants

'But Cher is definitely the out of control one! She causes a lot of trouble. She's as miserable and moody as she looks.'

Louis also said Cher is starting to get an ego through the stories appearing about her in the press.

Comments: Louis Walsh didn't hold back with his critique

He added to Heat magazine: 'Cher is believing her own publicity, which is a big mistake. I don’t get any warmth from her.

'She needs to learn to be nice to everybody - because you’ll meet them on the way down.'

He continued: 'I couldn't work with Cher. She thinks she's going to be an overnight success, and because she listens to American R&B she's picked up all these weird musical things and makes funny faces.

There's no likeability there.'

And Louis even said he believes Cher's mentor Cheryl Cole is guilty of favouritism when it comes to her teenage mini-me.

He said: 'I think Cheryl should put in more effort with Rebecca. I think Rebecca feels a little bit let down - you can tell that Cher is Cheryl's favourite.'

Louis isn't the only one to reveal his true feelings about the teenage singer, who has been wowing viewers with her incredible voice and rapping ability.

Treyc Cohen, who was voted off the show instead of Katie Waissel two weeks ago, said Cher is fond of playing 'mind games' on her fellow contestants.

She told Heat magazine: 'Cher knows what she wants and how to get her own way. Sometimes she'd try to make out she'd got her way even if she hadn't - she played mind games.

'She'd make out she'd spoken to Cheryl on a few occasions, when I knew she hadn't. If there were reports Cheryl had been shopping for her, Cher wouldn't deny them even if they weren't true.

'She'd get the most freebies and would make out she was the most special.'
But despite the differing views on Cheryl, there is no denying that she would cause a stir in the music industry if she were to release a record.

'There's no likeability': Louis says Cher makes it hard for people to like her

And former X Factor contestants JLS have already revealed their desire to collaborate with the pint-sized pop star.

JLS singer Marvin Humes said: 'Cher is unique. There is nobody like her. I think she’d work well with us.'

Marvin's bandmate Aston Merrigold added: 'I think the same, 100 per cent. It would be fantastic.'
